The Bahia Azul, the Blue Bay, is a place for people seeking peace and relaxation and offers fantastic views of the bay of Palma and the open sea.
In the village itself, one gets to a rocky access to the sea with a sun terrace. A more comfortable cooling can be found in the water amusement park “Aqualand” about ten kilometres away or at the surrounding sandy beaches of Es Trenc and Sa Rapita. Further alternatives are offered by the quickly accessible south coast of Mallorca with its crystal clear water, wonderful bathing bays and sandy beaches.
In Bahia Blava / Bahia Azul there are a few restaurants with simple cuisine as well as a supermarket. For an extensive shopping spree, a visit to restaurants of any cuisine or a pub crawl, the fifteen-minute drive to the capital Palma de Mallorca is ideal. Also worth a visit is the market in nearby Llucmajor, which takes place every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
