Parking with the rental car in public parking lots?
n the summer months, there is a great shortage of parking spaces in many tourist resorts on Mallorca. To make matters worse, in recent years, car rental companies are increasingly parking their unrented vehicles in public parking lots. To combat this, the police have already launched campaigns in some municipalities, informing car rental companies that fines are now due if unrented rental cars are left in public parking spaces.
These penalties between 1000€ and 10000€ must be paid by the car rental company. To prevent this from happening in the first place, you should place the rental agreement clearly visible behind the windshield in your rental car. The following data must be recognizable:
- Number of the lease
- Duration of the lease
- Indicator
- complete address of the landlord
- Phone number of the landlord
